My Background

I’m a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for individuals and families across the lifespan. My professional experience spans school-based mental health, behavioral health, psychotherapy, foster care, nursing homes, and both adult and children’s group homes, giving me a well-rounded understanding of the unique challenges people face at every stage of life.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with children, adolescents, adults, older adults, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, behavioral concerns, grief, substance use, and major life transitions. My experience includes supporting children and families involved in the foster care system, providing care in nursing home settings, working with individuals in adult and children’s group homes, supporting students with complex behavioral and emotional needs, conducting clinical assessments, crisis intervention, and providing individual and group therapy.

I believe that effective therapy begins with building a genuine, trusting relationship. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique strengths, experiences, and goals. I strive to create a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful, lasting changes.

In addition to therapy services, I provide individual therapy, Emotional Support Animal (ESA) assessments, and gender-affirming assessments when clinically appropriate. My mission is to help every client feel supported, understood, and confident as they work toward improved mental health and overall well-being.

Outside of my clinical work, I’m committed to ongoing professional development and staying current with evidence-based practices to ensure my clients receive the highest quality care. At Well Heard Therapy Center, my goal is simple: to ensure that every person who walks through our doors feels genuinely well heard.
